The Churdan public library is offering its stacks of vintage Churdan area newspapers to patrons. The hard copies are no longer needed because they’ve been scanned in to the Community History Archives of Greene County and are available via the website of county libraries.
Papers are dated from 1891 to 1987.
Persons who want more information can call the library at 515-389-3423. Any papers still at the library on Dec. 4 will be recycled.
